Rebecca M. Ebbecke’s extensive background in finance, operations and law, in diverse industries including manufacturing, brings Northeast BioIndustries significant corporate expertise.
In addition to being Director of Finance with a national marketing and promotions company, Ms. Ebbecke also was CFO responsible for the finance departments of a multi-company international conglomerate including Clear Channel and Televisa.
As an Executive Committee and Compensation Committee member, Ms. Ebbecke was an integral part of managing the diligence process involved in the sale to a multi-billion dollar strategic buyer.
In addition to her finance career, Ms. Ebbecke is a business law attorney and litigator. As a Dean’s List student every semester of both college and law school, she graduated summa cum laude in each, earning her a position as a Federal Judicial Clerk, and then Faculty Teaching Fellow.
Among her recognitions, Ms. Ebbecke received the Colorado Society of CPA’s Gold Key Award, and was named the American Society of Women Accountants Top Woman Accounting Graduate.
Thomas A. Kokoska for two decades has assisted in establishment and operation of various DeMatteo Industries entities, providing important direction to the Boards of Directors while successfully administering $100+ million and high profile ventures as Director of Project Development and Legal Affairs, and then as Secretary and General Counsel.
Mr. Kokoska previously handled complex commercial litigation many years, including state, federal and multi-district class actions. His clients included the Dallas Cowboys and Texas magnate Bum Bright’s various entities, as well as transferee financial institutions, bridge banks, and the FDIC and RTC during the savings and loan crisis. Multiple Fortune 100 companies have engaged Mr. Kokoska to manage national portfolios of problem litigation.
Mr. Kokoska’s business and business law experience includes, among other things, starting and operating the in-house law department for an Indian Tribal Nation operating one of the largest tribally-held hotel and casinos, and acting as General Counsel for a Triple A professional baseball team.
Mr. Kokoska enjoyed a successful academic and athletic career attending Yale University as a State of Connecticut Scholar, earning 7 varsity letters playing on 5 championship football and baseball teams, including Yale’s last two nationally-ranked Division 1 football teams. He attended SMU School of Law in Dallas as a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar and was selected to The Barristers.
Mr. Kokoska maintains strong ties to academia as a long-time Fellow of Timothy Dwight College at Yale. Mr. Kokoska is a Director for both the Yale Football Association and Yale Baseball Association, and engages in various cancer-awareness and fund-raising activities. Mr. Kokoska is recipient of the prestigious Nathan Hale Award for exemplary leadership, character and service and extraordinary dedication to community, church and Yale.
Kevin Miles’ 23 years of highly-decorated service with the FBI is punctuated by his recognition as one of the world’s foremost authorities on explosives and ordnance.
After graduating from The FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, Mr. Miles success handling violent crimes on two Indian reservations earned him appointment to Los Angeles, where he trained in crime scene management, weapons of mass destruction, tactical operations, and counter-terrorism, which is among his specialties of expertise.

He most recently acted as Director of International Training for a company that educates public safety personnel, military personnel and private security professionals worldwide, including supervising and coordinating the training of highly-experienced professionals in matters ranging from explosive ordnance, improvised explosive device disposal and post-blast investigations, to money laundering and active shooter intervention.
After graduating from the University of Tulsa with a degree in Criminal Justice, Mr. Miles began his law enforcement career by serving eight years as a police officer in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where his collateral bomb squad duties as a member of the Armed Robbery Task Force inspired his passion for explosives and ordnance. While serving as a police officer, he also attended boot camp and served four years in the Marine Corps Reserve. In his eight years as a police office, he received numerous commendations for exemplary service, and never once received a civilian complaint.
Mr. Miles continued his education as well as his career, earning a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University. He is now working toward his Ph.D.

Regina Canale-Miles began her law enforcement career attending FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, where she graduated with specialized training in Terrorism, Information Security, Critical Infrastructure Protection and Physical Security. Her sterling 22-year FBI career includes many years undercover, investigating violent crime, narcotics, and counterterrorism. She was assigned to the FBI Los Angeles Personnel and Physical Security Office, where she was appointed Principal Relief Supervisor for the Liaison Squad. She was later named Coordinator of the FBI Los Angeles InfraGard Program, with primary responsibility for sharing threat information with critical infrastructure personnel, requiring that she interact with all security-related entities in Southern California, and travel nationally to present InfraGard Program information to other Federal agencies, such as FEMA. Ms. Canale-Miles managed all aspects of Critical Infrastructure Private Sector outreach for her Division, include manpower and budget issues.
The FBI director commended Ms. Canale-Miles in a number of difficult cases, including for commitment, loyalty, and sense of mission to a complex case, for exemplary commitment and development of critical evidence, for personal sacrifice, for outstanding dedication to the FBI’s EEO Program, and for commitment and enthusiasm to the FBI’s Mission Assurance and Continuity Conference.

Regina Canale-Miles has a long and distinguished career in security and law enforcement -- including two FBI headquarters awards for outstanding personal achievement -- most recently as Director of Security for one of the world’s foremost arms weaponry manufacturers, where she managed all aspects of physical and Information security and safety and oversaw facility projects. She interfaced with the law department as to International Traffic in Arms Regulatory compliance, and Human Resources Department as to hiring, firing, and establishing employee policies to ensure a safe and cooperative work environment.
